CONFERENCE SKANR legal document

This document is provided for transparency and contract support. It is written to describe the service posture and does not replace customer-specific legal advice.

1. How to submit a request

Email theo@skanr.ai with the subject "Data request" and include the business email address, company, event name, source page, or professional profile you want us to review.

You may request removal, suppression, correction, access, objection, unsubscribe, source-category review, or review of whether a source should be excluded.

If you are submitting a request on behalf of someone else, please explain your authority to act for that person.

2. Information needed to locate a record

Please include enough information for us to find the record. Useful details include business email, company name, job title, event name, source page, professional profile URL, customer campaign reference, or the message you received.

We may ask for limited verification before disclosing, correcting, deleting, or suppressing information. Verification helps prevent unauthorized access, fraudulent deletion, or changes to another person record.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it for verification.

3. How requests are processed

We review requests, search for matching records, evaluate the request type, and take action where appropriate, such as deletion, correction, suppression, source review, or customer/provider coordination.

Where a record is removed, we may preserve a minimal hashed or otherwise minimized suppression entry to avoid re-importing or re-contacting the same business contact through CONFERENCE SKANR workflows.

If the request relates to a customer campaign, connected mailbox, or provider-supplied field, we may notify or coordinate with the relevant customer or provider where appropriate or required.

4. Suppression

Suppression means we keep enough limited information to help avoid future import, resale, or outreach through CONFERENCE SKANR workflows, while limiting broader use of the underlying record.

A suppression record may include a hashed email, domain, source reference, timestamp, request category, or other minimal operational information needed to honor the request.

Suppression is often more protective than pure deletion because it helps prevent the same public or licensed record from being added again later.

5. Do Not Sell or Share review

California residents and other eligible individuals may use theo@skanr.ai to request opt-out review for sale or sharing of personal information.

If an activity is treated as a sale or sharing of personal information under an applicable privacy law, we will honor eligible opt-out requests and maintain suppression where appropriate.

If a dedicated web form, preference signal process, or additional notice becomes legally required for CONFERENCE SKANR, it should replace or supplement this email intake before broad public sale or export.

6. Timing

We aim to review requests promptly and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law where a statutory deadline applies.

Complex requests, unclear identity, multiple matching records, customer coordination, provider coordination, backups, or legal holds may require additional time where permitted by law.

We may ask follow-up questions if the request does not include enough information to locate the relevant record.

7. Limitations

A request to CONFERENCE SKANR does not remove information from the original public source, conference organizer, customer system, enrichment provider, search engine, or other independent database.

We may deny, limit, or defer a request where legally permitted, including where we cannot verify the requester, cannot locate the record, need to preserve security or suppression information, or must comply with legal obligations.

If you received a message from a customer using its own systems or data, you may also need to contact that customer directly to exercise rights against the customer records.

8. Contact

All privacy, source, deletion, suppression, and opt-out requests should be sent to theo@skanr.ai.

Please use a clear subject line such as "Data request", "Opt out", "Delete my record", "Source review", or "Do Not Sell or Share".
