CONFERENCE SKANR legal document
This document is provided for transparency and contract support. It is written to describe the service posture and does not replace customer-specific legal advice.
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service govern use of CONFERENCE SKANR and any related conference intelligence, enrichment, lead lists, search tools, AI features, exports, integrations, and outreach workflows.
By accessing or using the service, the customer agrees to these Terms and any applicable order form, statement of work, data processing addendum, acceptable use terms, or written commercial agreement.
If an order form or written agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the order form or written agreement controls for that customer and only for the conflicting subject matter.
2. Service description
CONFERENCE SKANR helps business teams identify relevant companies and professional contacts around conferences, build internal lead lists, prepare messaging, and manage human-approved outreach workflows.
The service may include public-source conference intelligence, customer-provided records, licensed enrichment, AI-assisted search and drafting, integrations with email or conference-app channels, and inbox or reply workflow tools.
The service is not a consumer marketing database, regulated eligibility tool, credit reporting product, employment-screening product, or legal-compliance certification service.
3. License and permitted use
Subject to these Terms and any applicable order form, CONFERENCE SKANR grants the customer a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for internal B2B research, account selection, conference preparation, lead-list creation, and human-reviewed business outreach.
Access to the service does not transfer ownership of the underlying data, source materials, enrichment logic, software, scoring methods, suppression records, or documentation.
The customer may use records only for its own internal business purposes unless CONFERENCE SKANR expressly authorizes another use in writing.
4. Customer account responsibilities
The customer is responsible for all activity under its accounts, users, exports, API credentials, sender accounts, connected mailboxes, channel tokens, and downstream systems.
The customer must keep credentials secure, limit access to authorized personnel, promptly revoke access for users who no longer need it, and notify CONFERENCE SKANR of suspected unauthorized access.
The customer must not share access in a way that circumvents seat, account, usage, security, or contractual restrictions.
5. Customer campaign responsibilities
Customers are responsible for campaign content, target selection, sender configuration, suppression lists, legal basis, sequence settings, contact frequency, and compliance with applicable marketing, privacy, telecom, advertising, platform, and anti-spam laws.
Customers must use accurate sender identity, non-deceptive subject lines, truthful personalization, appropriate contact reason, required postal address or sender details, and a working unsubscribe or objection mechanism where required.
Customers must honor unsubscribe, objection, deletion, suppression, and do-not-contact requests promptly and must not remove required transparency, source, address, or opt-out language.
6. Data restrictions
Customers may not resell, redistribute, publish, scrape, bulk transfer, sublicense, or use CONFERENCE SKANR data to create, train, enrich, or validate a competing contact database unless expressly authorized in writing.
Customers may not use the service for consumer marketing, harassment, unlawful spam, credential phishing, misleading affiliation, sensitive targeting, protected-class targeting, minors, regulated eligibility decisions, or any activity that violates law or platform rules.
Customers may not attempt to re-identify suppressed records, bypass opt-out controls, defeat usage limits, or contact people who have objected or unsubscribed through CONFERENCE SKANR or the customer.
7. Outreach and channel rules
Every campaign must be reviewed by a human before sending. Automated sending without explicit user approval is not permitted.
Customers are responsible for the lawfulness, deliverability, sender reputation, frequency, domain configuration, channel authorization, and content of any outreach sent using or informed by CONFERENCE SKANR.
Customers must not imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, attendee consent, or official affiliation with any conference organizer, sponsor, exhibitor, or attendee unless that statement is true and authorized.
8. AI-assisted workflows
AI features may help search, classify, summarize, draft, enrich, prioritize, or explain records. AI features are assistive tools and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate outputs.
Customers remain responsible for reviewing AI outputs before using them. AI outputs are not legal advice, compliance clearance, recipient consent, or proof that a recipient can be contacted under every applicable law.
CONFERENCE SKANR may limit, suspend, or modify AI features to manage cost, abuse, security, quality, or provider restrictions.
9. Accuracy, availability, and changes
Conference and business data changes frequently. CONFERENCE SKANR works to keep records relevant and sourced, but does not promise that every field is complete, current, deliverable, verified, or error-free.
The service may be modified, limited, suspended, or discontinued for product, security, abuse-prevention, vendor, infrastructure, legal, or operational reasons.
Features described in product materials may depend on account permissions, data availability, third-party providers, customer configuration, and customer usage limits.
10. Suspension and enforcement
CONFERENCE SKANR may suspend, limit, or terminate access if usage creates legal, security, deliverability, provider, recipient-harm, or reputation risk, or if the customer violates these Terms or an applicable agreement.
Examples include excessive bounce or complaint rates, unlawful messaging, suspected resale, scraping, abusive enrichment, attempts to bypass suppression, misleading affiliation claims, or use involving sensitive or protected categories.
Suspension does not waive any other right or remedy and does not relieve the customer of payment, confidentiality, suppression, or downstream-compliance obligations that survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided as a B2B research and workflow tool. CONFERENCE SKANR does not guarantee replies, meetings, revenue, deliverability, legal compliance for a customer campaign, or the completeness or accuracy of any record.
Customers should obtain their own legal, privacy, deliverability, and compliance advice before launching campaigns, exporting data, or using data in a regulated or high-risk context.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CONFERENCE SKANR disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms, privacy, data requests, source disputes, or responsible use may be sent to theo@skanr.ai.
For commercial terms, invoices, security reviews, or data processing documentation, the applicable customer contact should use its normal CONFERENCE SKANR business contact or the privacy address above.
